• About •

TORPIDITY is a composed and mindful individual. Ey are a host for a show that airs from 8 pm - 1 am. Alongside em is er companion, OVINE. Who acts as the mascot for er show. The show is similar to the real-life show "The Good Night Show." Half of the show is Torpidity and Ovine teaching children nightly routines such as brushing teeth, cleaning up before bed, and reading stories to fall asleep to. Torpidity would also teach about morning routines and healthy habits. The other half of the show is educating children on the basics such as the ABCs, safety, and talking to other characters / one-off characters about various other educational subjects. Though the show is long, Torpidity would not always be present. The network would sprinkle in episodes of various kids cartoons usually about bedtimes in the middle of the show. Ovine gets segments dedicated to just them where its them jumping over fences and a voice counting. The Segments with Ovine tend to be the most calming part of the show as they're meant to put kids to sleep. Outside of the show, Torpidity and Ovine are a bit elusive, as not many people see them outside the show. They tend to stay home and don't really do public appearances. But they will sometimes go on other hosts' shows as guest stars and vice versa. Overall, the two are very well liked by children all over RAVECORE, and parents enjoy the child-friendly and soothing nature of both Torpidity and Ovine.

• Appearance •

TORPIDITY is humanoid in appearance. Er colors consist of white, powder blue, bright red, yellow, sky blue, and neon blue. Er hair is white with a yellow outline around it. Ey have blue roots in the center of er head. Er bangs and inner hair are the same sky blue. Er hair has two yellow eyes with red irises that sit on top of their bangs. One cracked bharal-shaped horn sits on the left side of er head. Er hair also has stars and heptagram shapes sitting in er hair like pins. Er face is the same blue with a dark blue shadow covering the upper half of er face. Er eyes are not the same size as one another. Er left eye is bigger than the other as has a red/orange pupil/iris. While the right eye is small and has a dark blue pupil. Er mouth is always a neon blue color. Instead of regular ears, ey have neon blue horns on the side of er head with eyes. The eyes have red irises and move. Er suit is a powder blue color with horizontal stripes. The sleeves of er suit has two big eyes that come out of the horizontal lines. The sleeves of the suit have brighter red, yellow, and blues that take up the cuffs. Ey have blue wide-legged pants with horizontal stripes. The outer seams of the pants have two large eyes coming out of them. Ey have a tail that is dark blue in base with the brighter colors swirling around it, with eyes in between the colors.

OVINE is sheep-like in apperance by also has a very long body similar to a worm but with stubby legs. Their body is dark blue with occasional ligher blue stripes. Their face is sheep-like with sheep ears as well as two big horns that make a crescent moon shape. They have a rosy red cheek circle below their eye. Which is the same red as TORPIDIYS' eyes on er horns. They have wool that is segmented into three parts across their body. The wool's colors start with sky blue, yellow, and red. The other two segments of the wool have two eyes that are in the pattern of the blue and red wool.

• Trivia •

  • Torpidity enjoys doing papercrafts; ey usually don't do them on er show. But in er freetime ey will do them and than put some of the crafts around the studio and or show them off the the audience.
  • Torpidity only uses Ey/Em pronouns. This is because it sounds like saying A.M [ante meridiem - before midday.] Ey don't use any other pronoun sets. Ovine uses They/Them.
  • The eyes on Torpidity's suit, hair, horns, and tail do move and blink. It's unknown if ey can see out of them or if they just function like that for show.
  • Ovine acts as a mascot but also as an assistant on the show. Torpidity will use them to show how to tuck children into bed, brush their teeth / hair, wash their face, and more. Ovine doesn't speak but they very much enjoy all the attention they get from Torpidity. Outside of Torpidity using them as an example on how to do things on the show, they get their own segments of them just playing around to help soothe kids to sleep. Ovine can be considered Torpidity's "pet" but they are a sentient being with their own thoughts and feelings.
  • Outside the show, Torpidity and Ovine stay home and don't usually go out in public. They live in the same building where they film the show. Half of the building is their studio while the other half is their housing and spare apartments. Only the first 2 floors are apartments people can rent-- the rest belongs to them.
