• About •

PYRITE is a belligerent and bossy individual. He is the host for a gameshow which is dedicated to "spot the difference," expect its timed and other distracting factors are involved. It's a simple premise which sounds fun. But Pyrite himself is considered the worst part of the show. He is full of himself, acting as if he and his show are going to overthrow the bigger celebrities in Telecine. Because of how he acts, he usually needs to pay people to be contestants on the show and/or the network just uses their own staff to be contestants. He sometimes gets people who are willing to be on the show for free as they are fans-- but most of the show's contestants and audience are just paid individuals and crew to keep it going-- meaning there tends to be repeat contestants, which bothers the viewership. The network has tried to cancel the show several times-- as a lot of his crew go to the network and complain they want out of their contracts because of how aggressive and just mean Pyrite is. Pyrite refuses to let them cancel the show, as he's spent his entire life saving money for the studio and licenses-- The network reluctantly agrees to fund more episodes. As even though the viewership for the show is mostly negative, at least people actually watch the show and Pyrite does have at least a few genuine fans.

• Appearance •

PYRITE is humanoid in appearance. He has pale beige skin with straight / uniformed bleach blonde hair. He has two cat ears sticking out on top of his head. He has a snaggle tooth and a cat-shaped nose that gives him a more cat-like appearance. He wears square-shaped glasses; the right lens obscures his eye. Instead of a clear frame, it is a red/teal/green/yellow vertical color palette. Giving the appearance of color bars. His left iris has a yellow base with the same colors as his lens splotched throughout. He wears an all-gold suit. The pattern on his suit is a mix of squares and spirals. There are visible white shines throughout it. Pyrite wears a black dress shirt under his suit. His tie is the same colors as his lenses-- expect the colors are in a horizontal pattern. His shoes are black but the soles are once again, the same red/teal/green/yellow combo. He has a tail that is the same bleach blonde as his hair. There are asterisk like shapes that are a part of his hair and tail-- They come in a multitude of colors. They act as hair accessories, but they are also living organisms.

• Trivia •

  • Pyrite obscures his right eye as he has a lazy eye. He is very insecure about it so he hides it. Because of his lazy eye and the fact its mostly obscured, his depth of field is warped and he tends to trip a bit more than usual-- People always help him but he tends to accuse them of making fun of him and gets aggressive.
  • The asterisk-like shapes are living organisms. They kinda are the equivalent to lice-- they're just more apparent and more mischievous compared to actual lice. They don't itch; they're more like hairclip accessories. But sometimes they do nip at his ears/skin and he scratches then. When he does this they tend to nip his hand and he ends up ruining his hair from scratching so much.
  • Pyrite claims his suit actually uses real gold in the design and is very expensive. Even claiming it costs more than what most people make in a year. In reality, he thrifted it and it cost 150$. Sometimes people point out the threads are showing and he argues with them about how authentic his suit is.
  • Pyrite has a lot of repressed emotion that makes him aggressive / act tougher than he really is. He does wish he was more genuine so more people could like him and he could actually become famous. He rather that most people not only know him as the one guy in the fake gold suit that pretends he's the next big face of the entertainment industry.
